First Year
Most parents really want the first birthday of their child to be memorable and as much as possible, they want all the details to be perfect – from the birthday invitations down to the food. Before you get too carried away with your first birthday party plans, you should consider the first and most important step for a party: the invitations.
You should have at least a rough idea as to how many guests you want to invite so that you can more or less estimate the number of invitations that you have to prepare. You also have to have an idea of the motif or theme for your party so that you can match it with the design of your 1st birthday invitation.
Eager Beavers
Parents who are very eager to send out birthday party invitations for their child’s first birthday usually resort to famous cartoon characters to grace the design of the invitation cards. This kind of invitation cards are easy to make and produce as long as one has a computer and a good printer, the reproduction of the copies can be as easy as 123.
Extra Special Birthday Invitations
A child’s first birthday is truly something that is worth remembering that’s why some parents would really be willing to go the extra mile just to make the invitation for their child’s first birthday extra special and memorable.
Some extraordinary first birthday gift ideas would include more than just an invitation card; some parents would buy picture frames and insert the picture of their baby there and attach a simple invitation note that holds the important information of the party (the time, date and place). Some would also send gift baskets that are either filled with fruits or chocolates, plus an invitation card for the recipients.
Pink Is For Girls And Blue Is For Boys?
Usually, 1st birthday invitations for girls come in pink while 1st birthday invitations for boys come in blue. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that those are the only color choices for birthday invitations. Other girly colors include purple and yellow while boyish colors include red and other shades of blue.
Themed Birthday Parties
If you are going to invite clowns and other mascots to your child’s 1st birthday party, you can most probably include pictures of clowns and mascots in your birthday party invitation so that the guests will know what to expect.
